I is for Insightful...

I originally thought I would be a really tough one.  Luckily I had class tonight and thought of a good I word that I could take a picture of.  And that would be Seminary.  Very Insightful!  Especially this quarter.  I love everything about my classes this quarter and it has all been making me think and mull over my own beliefs.
I have enjoyed sitting with the text I’ve been reading and ideas (another I) from class and truly mulling over what my belief system is all about.  I also enjoyed the Reading Interaction (one more I) Journal’s that we have been submitting each week.  Nice to be following my calling!  I is for Insightful.

H is for Humorous...

This picture almost didn’t come to fruition.  All day long I looked for a picture for H with no luck.  I had just given up hope (duh – there’s a GREAT H word!) and crawled into bed when I heard the cat wrestling with something on the floor.  Lo and behold… there she was rubbing and sniffing my Croc’s!  And all I could think was… there is H! I rather stealthily turned the light on and was able to take a few pictures of her and this is the best of the lot.  So in keeping with trying to photograph Sadie as often as possible… H is for Humorous.

G is for Ginger...

Giraffe was originally going to be the picture of the day, but then the little one was laying on the bed looking all cute and I thought about her being a ginger.  A term brought into popularity by that wonderfully fun show, Glee – another G word!  As I decided that G would be for ginger, Jan and I talked about get a picture of the cat everyday for each letter – now that would be a challenge!  For now… G is for Ginger.

E is for Elephant...

Here is my buddy Winks.  He was given to me by a very dear friend and travels with me when I go on business trips – his travels are very well documented in instagram.

When I was traveling to Texas, Winks would travel around in my back pack. I was teaching in the same classroom both times last year on the floor with our Sale Agents that work the telephones.  I’m sure they were probably thinking – crazy Californian!  Nice thing about being older and hopefully a bit wiser – I don’t care what they think!  Winks is my buddy and I enjoy traveling with him!  E is for Elephant!

D is for Dealership...

This has been my working place for two days.  The site where I worked for the Driving School for a year – my home away from the mothership.  And I just love coming into this office.  They are always happy to see me and I enjoy helping them out.  It is such a carefree place to come every so often.  I like it!  D is for Dealership.

C is for Cat...

I wasn’t going to do cat for this entry – but when I saw the cat all snuggled up, how could I resist.  So hard not to take pictures of the little one… for today’s entry – short, sweet and simple (should have been S today!)… C is for Cat.

B is for Blue...

So today is brought to you by the letter B – and there were several thoughts that I had – if I’d had my camera in the car coming down the toll road this morning I would have taken a picture of the view and called it Beautiful – and it was – clear skies and you could see all the way to downtown LA!  The blue sky was an option – but then I realized that there was even something better at work.  I’m teaching our bookkeeping class at work this week and what better to capture B than the Blue pencil we use with a ruler on our paper ledger that we keep – yeah – nothing like teaching such an archaic system – good times!  I did enjoy setting up the photo – it was originally going to be a group of blue pencils but could only find one – then I was going to place it on the table – but thought – even better would be the actual ledger that we use the pencil on!  And lo and behold after I took the picture I noticed that the ledger is the “Branch” general ledger – another B.  So... there you go… B is for Blue.
