Goodness... it's been a while! Since I'm starting a new journey, I thought it would be nice to do a little documenting of this new path. Quit my job at the Auto Club to take an internship at the hospital as a Chaplain... starting tomorrow!
It was exciting about a week ago to get the welcome letter that started out... "Good Afternoon Chaplains." Chaplain... wow... very exciting. Getting ready to start doing what I have no doubt God has planned for me... as he told me 5 years ago at an Emmaus team building.
A bit of a funny in that same welcome letter... when telling us what time to meet tomorrow, the admin said "the first day please try to be on time." This made me laugh... so polite and not so much of a directive as a request. My first thought was... of course I'm going to be on time... but I guess everyone doesn't quite think that way!
I will admit... I'm nervous. But God's got me on this... I'm all in for him and know that he will lead me every step of the way. Through the good times and the times when I feel like I just don't know what to do and wonder if I can do this at all. I am where I am meant to be. Praise be to God! Let the journey begin...
